Affordable Ramen at the Heart of Caloocan (Yatai Yakitori Ramen - Monumento)

Yatai Yakitori Ramen - Monumento
535 MacArthur Highway Caloocan, Philippines 1400
Located Between SM Hypermarket Monumento and China Bank

Looking for a place to eat before going home or craving for something to fill you up after a good drink? Or maybe you just wanted to eat out with a low budget? Then try Yatai Yakitori Ramen - Monumento. They are open from 5pm - 12am everyday

We went and tried this ramen stall last Tuesday at around 6:30pm the line was so long. The food was served around 8:30pm so that was 2 hours of waiting time. Please be patient for those of you who want to try their food because they can only accommodate a limited number of peoples and Yatai means a small, mobile food stall in Japan.

They offer 5 kinds of Ramen and also 4 Types of Rice meals for only P75

(From Upper Left to Lower right order)We ordered  Super Konbata Chasyumen(P105), Regular Shoyu Ramen(P65), Gyoza(P40) and one rice(P12)

The Shoyu ramen's broth was too salty that my girlfriend wasn't able to finish it.The Konbata Chasyumen was not that creamy but the butter on top made a huge difference making it taste good.
The Gyoza only had a few filling inside but since it was only worth 40php, I guess it's a good trade.

We ordered one super sized and one regular sized Ramen to know the difference between the two.The sad part is that the super sized Ramen only had more broth and noodles, but the toppings were of the same amount as the regular size. Advice for those who want to order a super just order 2 kinds of regular Ramen that will have more toppings and noodles. If you want to save more you can buy softdrinks at near stalls because the ice tea they sell is not worth the price.

To sum it all up I'm going to give this place a 2.5 rating.
The place is accessible.
The way they prepare the food was neat and clean. They were all wearing plastic gloves while handling the food.
The theme was good.
But I will not eat here again not only because the line was too long but also the food is not worth waiting for.I think that it was crowded just because the people only wanted to try the place and because of the new trend.

Here are some of the pictures i took.

R. Reyes Pizza Hub - The newest pizza parlor in malabon

R. Reyes PIZZA HUB McArthur Malabon  One of the newest pizza parlor in Malabon City. Pizza hub offers a large variety of pizzas. They also offer pastas, chickens and mojos The place was crowded during night. We went to pizza hub on a Thursday night around 7 pm. Good thing is people are not staying that long, they just eat and go. What I loved most in their menu is  Mojos. The crispy golden brown fried potatoes that taste so good on every bite.   We ordered two flavors of pizza the first one is bacon special for the price of 160 pesos, I think its worth to try. What I do not like about their pizza is the crust, for me it is too soft. Next is 2 cheese for only 120 pesos. I really like this flavor because of the amount of cheese they put.  We ordered all kinds of pasta that they have. The taste of their Carbonara is quite good for the price of 65 pesos. The amount o...
