We arrived at the resto around 7:30 pm, the lane was so long we are 12th in line.
The place was quite small they only have around 7 grills that can accommodate 3-4 people.
We waited for almost 1 hour to able to eat, but its worth the wait. Also it was Wednesday night.
We tried asking if they offer a set that includes beef and pork, but they don't have so we just ordered Samgyeopsal set 2 for only 250 pesos, 2 Extra Rice and 1 Softdrink, They also offers unli meat for 500 pesos with no time limit other marinated meats and Soju.
Set 2 consist of pork belly(250g), lettuce and 4 side dish such as kimchi, kimchi salad, cucumber and spicy korean soy bean stew. Imagine ordering this twice and you will only pay for 500 pesos!!
How do you eat Samgyeopsal
1. Grill the meat and the garlic.
2. Cut the meat to small pieces.
3. Take a piece of lettuce,
4. Dip the meat at their chili sauce and butter w/ salt and pepper.Add some side dish, I added some rice too
5. Roll it up then eat the whole thing!
Here are some of the pictures i took
To sum it up I will give this restaurant a 3.5/5 rating,
Pro's
1. The staff are very accomodating
2. The food was good the lettuce was good.
Con's
1. The place was quite small so it can be noisy. The walls are not that nice unlike in other branches.
2. They don't accept reservations and you really need to wait even on lunch time they said.
3. They don't have beef and pork combo
4. Only the Samgyeopsal set 1 and 2 have side dishes
5. They don't offer desserts

ReplyDeleteMY GREATEST DISAPPOINTMENT TO THIS SAMG HOUSE. DINAYO PA NAMIN TO NG BESTFRIEND KO AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR THIS SO CALLED "160 PER HEAD & 250 PER 2HEAD," PERO PAG PUNTA NAMIN, WALA NAMAN... AS IN WALA, JUST YOUR ORDINARY SAMG RESTO.. DON'T GO HERE. 400PHP YUNG UNLI SAMG NILA TAPOS 280 PER HEAD PAG HINDI UNLIMITED. SAYANG ORAS AT PAGOD NAMIN.. MAG DC SAMG SA LIKOD NG VICTORY MALL NALANG KAYO. SA O.K MALL, 300PHP, UNLIMITED NA, MASARAP PA.. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS RESTO AND NEVER WILL I EVER COMEBACK!!
